Nature Scenes
Grandmother & Grandfather Rock
There is, of course, a legend be hind this, but it's not nearly as amusing as
the sight itself.
Waterfall
One can't visit a tropical island without making a token appearance at a
waterfall. So, here it is.
"The Beach"
Views of the "National Park". This is allegedly where the film,
"The Beach" was shot. The second photo is of us crammed on a boat reenacting
a refugee assault on Freedomland.
WARNING:
Do not sit under coconut trees! Not 30 seconds after these photos were taken,
the tree next to me dropped a coconut that made a thud not heard since the
dinosaurs
became extinct. (Well, maybe not that loud, but it still made a big
"thud".)
Below are more beautiful beach scenes with Deadly Coconut Trees.
The "longboats" pictured below were pretty much the water
transportation of choice in Thailand. The engines were basically taken straight
from automobiles. Steering the boat basically required moving the entire engine.
